I'm assuming the numbers are binary.
Thus the problem in octal is 144*144/12
which is 100*100/10 in decimal = 1000

no, just kidding. i dont get your question though, is there a decimal place? why are there so many 0s in front of the number? did you miss out the decimal point? sorry cos i really dont get why there are so many 0s in front...
