HI all. I'm doing a little project and compiling a list of excellent musicians/singers who died too soon. I need your help in making that list. Who absolutely HAS to be on the list. Now keep in mind I'm looking for deaths a little more untimely than someone dying of cancer in their 50's (accept of course George Harrison will be on the list because I mean.. he's a BEATLE. They should be immortal)

So.. who are your nominees for my tribute??
cause of death and age at death will be helpful too.

Preferred: those who died while their carreer was still going strong, and are people who many of us knew and loved.

Take it away Yahoo Answers.

By the way, hope none of what I said sounded at all insensitive.. My intention is to HONOR these fine musicians with a tribute.
