witch is better Auratus Cichlid or yellow lab.?

I love my auratus but they are very aggressive and need a really large tank(50 gallons),yellow labs are one of the more mild Malawi cichlids and can be kept in a 30 gallon tank.If you are new to cichlids I would probably chose the yellow labs.

Better in what sense? Which is better depends on what kind of tank you are talking about (and personal preference).

Yellow labs have brigher color, Auratus has nicer markings. Yellow labs are not as active as Auratus. Yellow labs are also not as aggressive as Auratus. Yellow labs are better kept in milder tanks and you can get away with putting them in a tank as small as 30 gallons. Auratus are better kept in more aggressive tanks and should have much more space.

Both are nice fish it depends on your preference .If you want more color varity go with the auratus the females are yellow ,white and black and the males are purple and black. If you like bright yellow go with the labs

i personally like the yellow lab's they are much brighter. But you shouldnt have any issues of keeping them in a tank together so you could always go with both.

you don't have to remember to walk a cichlid... or take it to the vet, or make sure it doesn't run all over the neighborhood.

they are easier i guess...

and cheaper in the long run
