I changed water and container, is it bad omen?

the best place in the home for your bamboo is in the bathroom I check it out on the Internet ,I don't think its a bad omen before you toss them out though have 3 more to replace them there is your luck

yep, they are rotting. That's the stink you smell. Trim off the rotten ends, change water at least every 3 days.

If it's Golden Bamboo, it's normal for this time of year for that.

Yes but you could always try taking cuttings off the healthy parts worked a treat on mine!!
