MSN Money offers real time quotes for free if you have an MSN Passport (which is free to get).

If you're an active trader, consider opening a Zecco.com account. No minimum balance, zero commission, and free real-time quotes.

Various 'levels' of 'real time' share prices are offered by various institutions at various prices.

In the UK, 'for free' you can usually get 15 minute delayed 'real time' prices = for example, Yahoo Finance, ADVFN, moneyam, FT etc.

Actual 'real time' ('zero' delayed) prices are usually only available if you open an account or pay for a subscription

I believe a few US ones are 'free' = I've not tried MSN Money but assume it's restricted to US stocks ..

Since there is no reason (I can think of) to want zero delay prices unless you are spread betting or day trading, I suggest you focus on choosing your trading account supplier first (see last link for brokers)
