I think it sounds a little bit old fashioned. Also, I can picture a 90 year old woman named Rosemary, not a 6 year old girl. It's too old and matronly for my liking. But if you really like it, go for it. You are the parent.

I don't know. It kind of reminds me of an obnoxious mother in law in her mid-50s. That and the song, "Smile a little smile for me...Rosemary!"
I think Rose is a little more sophisticated, but thats just me

It's gorgeous and that way the little girl can choose if she wants it shortened to Rosie or Rose...instead of the parents choosing and she ends up with a name she reli doesn't like.x x x x

While I don't love it, I would much rather see it being used than Kaylie, Kylie, Haylee, Rylee, Mackenzie, etc. I think it is beautiful though and definitely underused! I say go for it, it would be so refreshing!
