I would stretch out , eat a banana or an apricot because they are loaded with potassium , walk it out and if that does not work, I would call a mechanic and get an oil and lube job because you are getting rusty. Most of all stretch out and relax and you should be fine. Let the blood flow along with the potassium to wake up your tired muscles. Love ya, Niff. Take care.

Here's what works for me ... first I stretch against it. Don't relax the muscle, the more you relax it, the more it will tense up. Stretch against it to keep the muscle tight and then massage it hard. I take my thumb or a knuckle and drive it pretty hard right into the charlie horse and I keep working it until it goes away. It usually works pretty fast for me.

We won't ask what your doing to get the Charlie Horse. ;-)

Standing up and going up and down on your toes will stretch the calf muscles and ease the pain.

walk it off or stand in the shower with the water on it while you massage it. Potassium sometimes helps specially if you're in the heat a lot and loose water fast.

omg, I can't stand those. Best thing to do is to rub it.
Tos top from getting them put a bar of soap under your fitted sheet(just not dove) and voila no more leg cramps. I know it is weird but it works like a charm.

I call those leg cramps. Old wives remedy: sleep with a bar of soap under your top sheet. make sure it's by your feet. Worked for me during pregnancy. Weird!

I woke up with a bad one on Sunday.. It sucked. You just have to keep massaging it out and it will get better and eventually go away.

Flex-All 454 works wonders, but I usually just take it easy and walk it off. It takes a while.
