I have been given an Epson Stylus CX5400 printer but it does not come with its installation software CD-ROM. I have been to Epsons website to TRY and get the download to install it but to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas of how to install this printer or of any websites that offer software downloads!! I run on windows XP.

first, you can try looking for drivers on their website. second, you can try using some of the built-in drivers in windows. I have little experience with epson printers, but I know that I have never installed an HP printer from a disk because windows has all the drivers I have ever needed. even if you can't find the correct one, sometimes you can get close and it will still work. there is a driver in windows (XP anyway) for a Epson Stylus pro 5000, I bet that will work. if not, try some others, like the epson stylus photo drivers. you can probably find one that will work, since many printers are designed on similar firmware.
