I particulary like the homerun Kevin Millar hit right after the yankees pitcher hit Markakis in the back with a pitch! They need to do something about those stray balls of theirs!

yes they got beat by a team who is going nowhere, and they still had to resort to pitching at the batters! What a sorry a** team, and kharma is coming their way and it's not gonna be good! Go Red Sox! You deserve it, not this sorry bunch, I'm sorry Phil passed on, but all teams deal with loss, and it's not why they lost so bad last night! It's all those pitches coming back to haunt them!

Mike Wrecka- Duh? Since my team has no chance in h*** of winning, why not cheer on someone else who derserves it, are you that sore of a loser? The yankees won't be there I'll bet you that much. Boo Hoo! LOL I am a realist as I said, obviously I cheer the Orioles on, but I'm not stupid enough to think a miracle will happen and they will their division.

Boy are there some sore Yankees fans on here or what? they might make the playoffs, but no ring this year, and I'll say it one more time for those so overwrought with emotion they can't read, I am an Orioles fan, but since they won't be there, I choose to cheer the Red Sox on, and by the way the last game of this series is this afternoon, not tonight since they both have other games on the road, how well do you follow your team???????

Loved it..!! Cry me a river Yankee fans...
Good to see Millar is still a thorn in the Yanks sides... Didn't you know the only why the Yankees know how to deal with losing is to start 'beaning' opposing players. Their like a 6 year-old that doesn't get their way, look for them to stomp their feet and pout too... Look for Roger to start throwing bats at runners and A-rod to try and chop a ball out of a players hand as he gets tagged out or scream 'i got it' or go out of his way to try and injury someone doubling him up again....
Hope the O's do it again... oh and try not to step on any stray needles around Jason J...

Yes the Yankees did lose last night, but it was only game. They are still only five games out of first. You Yankee haters act like your team has won the World Series & they( Tigers, Indians & White Sox)(how many rings does your team have?) When the season is over & your team wins a championship, then maybe you can have bragging rights but until then, you can say all you want about how much the Yankees suck & all the negative stuff but in the long run, Yankees will always be in the run for a play-off spot.

Oh ya, the Orioles definitely opened a can of whoop **** on the 27 in 07 team. I am sorry, but they did not lose because of the loss of Phil Rizzuto (RIP by the way). Half that team barely even know who he is and have had no direct connection with the guy since he has been in a nursing home for a long time now. Phil is rolling in his grave hearing that excuse dude. Just accept it. You got your butts kicked and move on. It happens to everyone. Go Millar. We now forgive you for beating our team this weekend! :)

Anyone who knows anything about baseball knows that Baltimore and Tampa Bay, 2 sorry teams in that division, give the Yankees problems. Heck, they just got finish beating up on your Red Sox so go figure. The Yanks were in a bad position even before the game started by having to juggle their normal rotation because Clemens got suspended. Anyway, going crazy over one game just shows how desperate you Red Sox fans really are.

I was love love LOVING the orioles yesterday. i just thought it was funny that the yankees swept the indians, but they got totally run over by the orioles. the red sox win made it even sweeter.

well as great as the yankees are ,they cant win every game. you say your an orioles fan but your hoping the red sox win the division your pitiful. how could you root for a team other than your own. i mean ya i know the orioles are terrible but come on. oh and by the way cal ripken jr was probably the most over rated player ever. he played alot of games. big deal.ha. watch what happens tonight.

The Yanks lost a game, the season is over, Baltimore is great. You think the world has ended with all these Yankee posts because they lost one game badly. Stop the presses!! People are so ridiculous.

It's about time someone did...Orioles have a good chance to win today also...the pitching match-up favors them so I am hoping they can win the series. Play the role of the spoiler Baltimore!

They did, but it doesn't really matter. The Orioles are where they usually are, looking up at the Yankees in the standings.
