Which would you rather have as a pet?

I have both dog and cats. But if I have to pick between the two I will have a dog over a cat. I hate cleaning the litter box!

I love all animals but I have a cat and I think they are much nicer pets, they are more affectionate and are cleaner but then you have the worry of them going out on their own, whereas with a dog you have control of them but you get that doggy smell!

Dogs give you more companionship and the chance/requirement to get out and get some exercise, their food is generally cheaper
on the other hand - cats are cute and cuddly (or downright unfriendly - depends on their personality!), and mean you don't have to go out for a walk in the pouring rain twice a day!

the first answerer cat do stink up the house have u ever smelled cat dung i rather a dog cause once they are trained the can guard be your friend and keep you company cats r too moody in my opinion

I prefer Dogs but I have a Cat lol. Logic is that my daughter is severely allergic to dogs so I can't have one :-( so I have a cat instead!

A cat. They are independent, and can take care of themselves a lot better than a dog can.
