If so, then how would that question stand as a question?

... could the question of life, i.e. what is the meaning of life, qualify to be such a question?

Yes. who am I? would qualify for that wouldn't it?
it stands as a question because it has an answer, maybe one that is only known by the questioner but their is still an answer. The question why? in certain situations.
the meaning of life is a question with an answer of individuality so even if ten people said the same thing the meaning could be different.

Obviously I could. And that question would stand as pointless. As to the second part ... could the question of life, i.e. what is the meaning of life, qualify to be such a question? I don't think anybody is arrogant enough to say that only they, and nobody else, knows the answer to that question, if there is one.

If it is in your head where no one can see or hear it (secret) Only you could answer it so no one could challenge the fact that it is a question. On second thoughts if it was a question thought up by you for you to answer you can`t know the answer in the first place because you would not be thinking of it as a question as it would probably be a fact . Does that make sense? Back to the drawing board! sorry xxx

People ask questions to which Nobody knows the answer to, so in a way yes!

it would be same type of question if not similar...

Like a hypothetical/philosophical/physics question, we don't reeeally know the actual answers to these things but still pose questions

It would stand as a question yes, alot of people have trouble thinking of where they want to be in the future, what in life makes them the happiest and even sometimes how they feel about certain things. you may be the only one who can find the answer, but it still needs to be resolved.

I think there are a lot of questions that only you can answer. Because what you want to do with your life is real question but utilmatnly you have to decide what you want to do with your life.

Yes and if you asked it you'd be in the smug / complete git category - asking a question knowing that all around wouldn't be able to answer.

you are truly a philosopher

most people have secrets and have an answer to that secret, so logically to answer question only by you means you are the only one that knows that secret.

and yes, that question stands on its own .
you can ask yourself a question from your secret and answer yourself without anyone hearing you!!!!!
