my husband, his father, and his grandfather (im sure it goes further back but just havent got that far yet) all have german names. instead of naming my son after one of them i would rather give him a strong, unique name....i have been looking on naming websites but just wanted to throw this out there and see if i get any names i havent heard. so if you know any german names for a boy lets hear em!

I have a cousin named Baden (BAY-din). I also know the names Dirk and Hugh. Dirk means 'famous ruler' and Hugh means 'bright in mind and spirit'. Kyler isn't a bad name either
