Here is a true story that will answer your question.
During the 1967 War, the main battlefield was two fold: the sky and the desert. The Egyptian defense forces had radar focused on the State of Israel only. They were not sweeping 360 degrees. The Israeli Air Force went in behind their radar and destroyed the entire Egyptian Air Force on the ground. The Russians taught the Egyptian troops how to drive their tanks and how to fight with them, fire the gun, etc. However when the tank need repairs, the Egyptians couldn't read the manual, they were illiterate.

BTW Egypt gets an equal amount of aid. Israel uses their aid to a better advange. Egypt is supposed to be protecting the Palestinians, but the international community still expects Israel to feed, water, and protect the enemy that's trying to wipe them off the face of the map!

When you are in a state of war with multiple nations that have standing armies several times your size it would be suicide not to have some advantage over them.
And to those who say it is because of US aid... Where was the US when Israel won the six day war? Why is it that the money only came after three wars?

Most of the surrounding nations are not honey bears - if the Israelis were unprotected Israel as a political entity would be destroyed in short order.

In part because of US support, I believe. I don't think the terrorists would not exist if Israel was not a nation. These guys want to dominate whatever country, history would testify to that. If its not Israel, it will be some other country, and it could be us.

Because a lot of our US tax dollars goes to Israel like around 3-4 billion. and we sell them lots of our weapons. I honestly don't support Israel. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have all these terrorist.
