The Aquarium, Stone Mountain, and the Fernbank are good bets during the day. A Braves game is always fun, too.
For dinner, best bets are will be to head to Virginia-Highlands. Great neighborhood to walk around in and lots of interesting bars and restaurants. Little Five Pts, Midtown (near 10th & P'tree), and Decatur are other great areas for bars & restaurant choices.
Also take about 10-15 minutes to look in Creative Loafing to see what's going on in town.

ever considered Einstein's? 1 block west of Piedmont Park 1077 Juniper Street Atlanta, GA 30309 phone (404) 876-7925? NOT THE BAGEL PLACE! You might also consider going to a braves game or going to "my sisters room" if theyve never been. Be cautioned My Sisters Room is to certain people "questionable taste" but i love it there and considering im the only one there whos not gay its great! Im not sure of what "the normal" is for you but try something like a club or driving downtown after midnight...just please pay attention where your going!

I love Pappadeaux! We don't have it here on the West Coast, so whenever I visit my brother in Atlanta, I make him take me there almost every single night... seriously!
I've also been to Oceannaire in Atlanta. It's a delicious, fancy seafood restaurant.

There is a spot in Buckhead called Intermezzo that I absolutely love. I stop there every time I visit Atlanta. It has great desserts and small plates. Love it!

Canton Cooks on Roswell Road just north of 285. It's in the Whole Foods store plaza. Excellent Chinese cuisine. My Asian friends love it, so you know that speaks well.
