No! It's not possible. You can use anything before the @ but the rest of the address has to be linked to the address of a legitimate Domain's Mail Server. However, should you use anything before the @ and add a legitimate company after, E-Mails will get to the server and then returned to the sender with a message saying that the recipient "cannot be found on this server". It will be returned with a "MailDemon" header. If you are looking for a legitimate use of an E-Mail address, you can put anything before@yahoo.com but you will have to be the first to try for that address. Finally, if you intend to send mail but do not want to receive a reply, you can do this with POP-Mail but not WebMail. In Internet Explorer's settings (and Eudora), you can put anything in the "Reply To" setting. If a recipient hits the "Reply" button, your bogus address will be inserted automatically. Therefore, when they hit send, the E-Mail will try to reach idontwantyourmail@ spoofingyou.con However, it will fail to be delivered and returned to the recipient that attempted to reply. The only problem with that is that your legitimate address will show in the headers and anybody can easily open the headers, for viewing. All my mail shows full headers automatically. Spoof E-Mail is easily identified if one knows what to look for.

Hey Zinc,
Sorry but NO. Yes you can have virtually ANY email address you want but if the bit after the @ is not already used by a company offering email services then you'd have to buy the domain name you want.
So if you wanted zinc@metal.com.sg then you'd need to buy the domain name metal.com.sg and then set up a proxy email redirection so that anyone emailing you at zinc@metal.com.sg then the message would go to your normal email address and you would configure your mail client program such as Outlook Express to "pretend" that your sending email address was also zinc@metal.com.sg. Hey presto! As far as anyone knows your email address IS zinc@metal.com.sg.

The only way is to have your own Server, otherwise you can just about do what you want an the left side of@ but on the right side of @ will be your Internet Service Providers Name here is an example.
yoohoo@yahoo.com or yoohoo@roadrunner.com

No. If you want to have a random email address, you'll likely have to use some money. Some webmail providers, like Mail.com, gives their users a chance to host their own domain names, like yoohoo@teacher.com, or yoohoo@buddy.com, depending on its availability. But you HAVE to pay. Nothing comes for free anymore, except for freeware and open-source programs...

You could do that, but you would have to set up your own server and and host your own email account. It's a lot of work, but you could do it from your computer.
