I have trouble sleeping for some reason for quite sometime now. I usually don't go to sleep until 6am or a bit earlier and wake up around 12 in the afternoon. As I'm typing this, I haven't sleep yet! I'm REALLY REALLY tired but when I lay down and relax and close my eyes, I just won't fall asleep! I have even tried watching T.V., read a book, drink warm milk, basically everything. I don't want to try sleeping pills because I'm only 15. What do you think I should do to help me fall asleep when I want to?

Ultimately, it is up to you what you choose to do, but here's a great site that covers this topic. It's an innovative approach to insomnia & sleeping problems:

http://www.thesoundsleep.com
(Give it a minute to load...it has a short video.)

This is a product that you have to buy, but it sounds to me like you have insomnia & I would check it out & talk to your parents about it.

You DO NOT need to not to you have to resort to sleeping pills.

Good luck!!

Have you tried doing some excercise during the day??

I find that when my body clock is in a routine for eating, activity and excercise I sleep better,

Having said that- I think I'm an insomniac too ! lol

watching the answers to this one....

Oh yeah drink more water too- always helps everything i think :)

Take a hot shower before you go to sleep. It will raise your temperature then when you get in bed it will come down and you will fall asleep.

Try going to GNC, there are a few natural sleep aids that work really well. Try this article.. http://altmedicine.about.com/od/drcathywongsanswers/a/sleep_aids.htm
