With LSU maybe losing one game, USC probably losing one game, and possibly West Virginia probably losing one game. What two teams are going to the title game? How do you rank them if each team has one loss at the end of the season?

let me tell you.... Ohio State will be going and kicking ***. we have a great team. we didn't have the best end of the season last year, but it was a damn near perfect season.

Wow Smiley! You mean the same Michigan program that has choked and lost 2 games to end the season the last 2 years? They wouldn't stand a chance against WVU. I would take that match up all day long. As far as the SEC goes, they can start talking junk about the "NEW" Big East as soon as they finally win a game against them. They are 0-4 since the realignment in 2005. Talk about a sham... LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida and Georgia each only play 4 away games this year. That's 4 out of 12. Give me a break. No wonder they are all so heavily favored. Even so, someone in the Big East will be undefeated at the end of the year, so that should clear up some of the confusion.

The same way it was done last year between Michigan and Florida. It all comes down to the human votes, because the computer rankings will be more or less equal. However, after last year, if the situation you mentioned occurs between USC and LSU, a lot of weight will be put on LSU's strength of schedule relative to USC's. This isn't to piss off any USC fans, or to tout the SEC in any way, it's just a matter of fact that the SEC has so many teams that could be possible contenders for the national championship. If a team lik LSU or Florida can make it through their schedule with only one loss playing those teams, they ought to have a shoe in. That being said, I think USC will go undefeated this year and play the one loss LSU in the BCS game. Just my opinion.

I'd take LSU with 2 losses over West Virginia with 1. If any big east team loses any game they're done. They only play 1 a year anyways. West virginia sucks, georgia and georgia tech. Georgia was two years ago! Is notre dame good because they beat Tennessee two years ago? Minnesota beat Michigan 2 years ago, watch out for their national championship run! And I'm not going to give you a banner for beating Georgia Tech, that's like beating Oregon.
Man I hope Michigan gets to play WVU so we can exploit them and put the big east back with the WAC where it belongs.
Lastly, LSU will have more than 1 loss, Auburn's a better pick for 2007.

lsu-usc i hate west virginia but think of it if they win it all they might burn the state down like a bunch of losers they are. in that scenario if this were to happen any team that has such a weak conference such as the big east you will never see a big east team win it all unless one goes undefeated and no one else does

USC won't lose and they will end up playing an undefeated Michigan team in the BCS championship.

Good that the BCS will have trouble. Then maybe someone with some brains will finally take control and install a true playoff system.
And Dawn Z's on drugs. OSU will be lucky to finish fourth in the Big Ten this year.

I hate to tell you Dawn our Buckeyes aren't going to be that good this year. They will probably finish 3rd I would imagine. You never know though, Tressell may have more up his sleeves than you think, and they did have a good recruting class. I think Michigan will be in the top 5 as much as I hate to say it.

u guys just keep talking trash about the mountaineers,,, no worries here,,, we will not lose a game, and for the last poster to put WVU at 12,, dont think this person watches College Football too much,,, they have THE most explosive offense in the nation,,, dont believe it, just ask Georgia and Georgia Tech,,,, ill give ya not the best defense, but one hell of an offense,,,,, even without Slaton they hung 38 on GT,,, and WON,,,, no worries here,, all you WVU haters just keep it goin,,, we shall see at the end of the season,,,,, WVU 38 and USC 35,,,, mark the word
