Of course... The internet is just the medium. Minds meet... friendships follow.
ADMISSION: after two cr*appy marriages I found my third time lucky friend who became my wife.... on the internet.

To be a good liar, particularly over the internet, one needs larger memory than a 500 Gb hard-disk... so I think internet friendships rock. And we consider marriage the ultimate friendship, then take note that marriages between partners who "met" on the net is increasing.

Yeah, to a certain extent. I'm not going to say that it's the same as my friends in person, but I still say we're friends, in a way.


Some people on here know more about the way I feel or what I'm up to than my real friends do.

Yes to an extent. But reading some of these answers amazes me. I wouldn't think someone would get phone numbers from people on here. It's quite amazing.
