You are entitled to see your own medical records. Defiantly go to the facility that did your x-rays and ask for a copy. They may charge you but hey you will still be able to obtain them!

Yikes! You're lucky to be alive.. I would think that your Dr would/should have copies of your x-rays and you can probably request em through him or her. If you don't have a PCP, then I would suggest getting ahold of someone in the radiology department in the hospital where you were treated at time of said injury. They do keep films on file for up to so many years. They would better be able to advise you on how to get copies. You will probably have to show identification for hippa purposes and you may even have to pay for them, but they should be available to you upon request. I hope this helps.

Your medical records are privet and confidential and hospital staff are not permitted to give them out to any one but you. You have every right to obtain a copy of your Xrays and you cannot be refused.
good luck with your recovery

X-rays taken of you are part of your medical records, that you have every right to. The hospital or clinic that took them may charge you for reproducing them, but you have a right to them.
