What type of paint should I use to paint the concrete steps in my yard?

First you should clean the concrete with a bit of soap and water or use a pressure washer, then use an etching product and let that dry. You can either use an exterior grade paint or they have some very nice concrete stains available.

The hardest part is picking out the color you want.

if you paint them they'll become slick when it rains. then theres another thing to watch for the paint peeling ....
