The condensate goes to a plastic tube that should go to a place to dispose of the water. Each Spring, we put a cup of bleach in that drain hose because all kind of crud builds up in it. Good luck. This works for this house.

There's a drain, should go under the house or hopefully to the outside somewhere. If you have a shop vac (wet vacuum cleaner) you can sometimes put it to the end of the hose where the water normally drips from the unit to the outside and it will clean out any mess that's clogging up the line. I actually had to do this last week to my own unit. Working fine now and saved a service call. Hope this helps.

You should not see any water leaking anywhere near the unit that is behind your door. All of the water should be draining down a pvc line to the outside of your house. Better call someone and have it looked at.

The drain is probably clogged. It's very humid these days and your AC unit is designed to remove humidity ffrom the air in your house. It drips in a pan and is supposed to go to a drain. Your drain is probably clogged with slidge. Clear the drain. It's nothing to worry about other than water damage. The AC is probably fine. Change the air filter, clear the drain, and hose it off outside.

That is one purpose of an a/c unit is to pull the moisture out of the air (humidity). put it in a window and make sure it slopes down on the rear of the unit so that the water can drain out to the outside.

There is a drain on your furnace that should be running into a sump pit or a drain, its normally a 1" pipe is it clogged?

I had a similar project at present. i found that my gardener crammed my flower mattress with new soil & lined the %condensation pipe coming from the aircon unit. I got rid of the soil, & the water merely gushed out of the pipe. i haven't had a project because.
