all you got to do is take the numbers on the middle sort them out with their class centres and frequencies then find out the middle score, if its even set the get the two middle scores and divide it by 2.

Since the median is the middle observation (or the average of the two middle observations if you have an even number), just count the number of observations you have in each row (X1, X2, ...), then count the number in total (X).

Then start adding X1+X2+...+Xk until it becomes greater than (X+1)/2 (if X is odd). Then your median will be the value of the k-th row.

If X is even, then add until you get more than X/2. If Xk = 1, then the median is (Xk + X(k-1))/2, else it's Xk.

Mechanics each and each of how :) the mathematics you study in it incredibly is extremely functional - no longer everybody's cup of tea - yet plenty greater effective than data, imho. properly you seem a fellow sciency individual lol so i could propose physics besides? or you may desire to to do a language? French or german could be fairly elementary lol

sort them in order
find the middle one.
If there are two middle element,
find the average of them

ex: 1,2,3,4,5
median=3

ex: 2,4,6,8
median=(4+6)/2=5
