About what they're like off-line? About the happiness or tragedy that fills their lives? Do you ever think that perhaps their demeanour on here, masks something completely different?

A little. I think one can get a peak into one's personality here, but far from complete. Regarding their personal life, who knows. Some people would be interesting to meet in person, based on the nature of their responses. Quirky. Insightful. Funny. Irreverent. Serious. Mix of all. Would be interesting to see how much their 'on-line' behavior mimics their 'off-line' life.
Regarding people who are rude and offensive I tend to think they are insecure and generally feel miserable. I have little curiosity for them, nor do I care what makes them behave the way they do. (It is very nice being able to ignore with the merest of effort people on-line.)

Yes, I do wonder. In fact, I wonder about exactly what you said, especially about their demeanour masking something...I think about that way too much, actually...lol. What are you like offline?

I don't need to wonder about other peoples lives, the thing is questions and answers should bring out your personality, if it doesn't, you shouldn't be giving advice to other people that need help.
Anybody who's persona's doesn't come through, are a fakes and should leave now before someone gets hurt by them!

I say Chill Out. A few answers tell you nothing bu tI sometimes do wonder what some ppl are like from their answers so I am a hypocrit so what type of person does that make me in my daily life???

sometimes, esp people who's questions & answers i see all the time. You can nearly build up a profile about them, but whos to say that profile is correct!
Sometimes people are brutally honest, others a lot more coy, its interesting to hear their opinions on things. But I'm interested to hear all different types of opinion's, I wouldn't have set ideas about a lot of things, sure we're all here to learn (not this site, as such but life in general)

Sure,I think about them. There are several people that I'm sure I would like in real life.I say a prayer every week at Mass for my friends,both real and on line.

I just know that i answer/ask questions as a form of escapism, i guess most other people are doing the same. There are some nutters, who are a bit mad, and i like to avoid them!

People who need or enjoy human interaction and enjoy learning from or helping other people. And then again, many jerks with inferiority complex. So, on balance just a typical cross section of our society, nothing special about us I am afraid.

I do think about it but people have a life off this as well and i think you should never judge people from what they write or put on here its fun and for fun alone .x
