How come we're so complicated and we can't fly without the help of machine?

Some people think that we can't fly, create matter spontaneously, teleport, or any of those other mystical things we'd like to do because we currently only use 10% of our minds. They think that if we can master the other 90% we'll be able to do literally anything. Personally I don't buy into that, but its a theory.

It's all about power, weight and surface area. If we had giant wings and massive muscles, we'd be able to fly. Or if we weighed as little as a bird, we'd be able to use fake wings. But we're too heavy and lack the strength.

We don't need to fly to survive. Even we would like to. We can't see at night or smell as good as other animals.

We don't try because we don't believe we can. Our own doubts keep us grounded. Oddly enough, should we reach the state of mind where those doubts vanish and thereby allow us to do amazing things, that same state of mind would remove the need to do them. Those who have achieved enlightenment are blissfully unaware of ever desiring it. Interesting.
