Look, from 14 years old i wanted to play the violin. My parents never listened. I am 17 years old now and i didn't give up. First i thought (when i was young), that this is not important but i want to learn to play the violin more now. I play also the piano and i have taken the diploma. Should i start taking lessons or should i stop thinking about it because i am too old? Thank you in advance.

I think you should start taking lessons, you have always wanted to do it,and if you continue you could become really good at it and you have wanted to learn to play the violin and it's something that interests you,If you go ahead with it you have done what you wanted to do if you don't you'll never know what it was like,so I think you should go for it.

You're never too old. Learn the violin. It just might be your heart's passion.

you're never too old to learn. if your parents won't or can't get you lessons, wait until you're making enough to pay for them yourself.

never give up a dream just because you think you're too old to pursue it. any desires to expand your abilities like this are, in my opinion, considered worthwhile!

good luck and good playing!

You are definitely not too old. I think you should start to learn because you have wanted to for such a long time. Anyone who wants something as badly as that, owes it to themselves to go ahead and do it.

Good luck with it!

Too old? What do you fear, the lack of accomplishment because of doing things too late? If you want to do things, get it done now. Try not to wait until you are too old because you are physically not up to it, then you start to regret. Hope this helps. :)
