Hi ' midgetpidgeon ' :
You' re in a new world, now . You' re no longer a fellow-student that your old classmates see every day . It' s not that they don' t like you it's just that you' re not "visible" to them anymore .
Unfortunately, your ex-classmates have short memories and it' s hurting your feelings when they forget about you when something "fun" comes up .
You need a whole new set of friends that exist in the same "world" that you now live in .
Are you employed ? If so, then hang out with a few fellow-employees . They would see you everyday at work . Many good friendships have started by people on-the-job becoming friends .
You sure don't have to worry about becoming more popular ! Since you were able to make friends , in the past, you' ll definitely be able to make new friends in the future !

unfortunately, such things do happens

I don't know what bebo is, but did you apologize to the b'day person for not attending? Probably they thought you weren't interested in hanging out with them so they didnt call you this time around

if you did, that's about all you can do. Friends do sometimes drift apart.

I have been left out by my former group of friends too. can't help it, mix around with other friends now.

it's probably time for you to do so too =)

Mail each a chatty but brief note by post. Remind them they are worth the cost without saying as much. Leave open a small portion of subject one can respond with. The people who reply using personal stationary are your friends. Email
and electronics are fashionable but isn't there better for you?
Aren't you worth it? If not, go make more friends, but tend to
new fields so another crop isn't lost.

If they arent inviting you to things its there loss! you could try having a big party and inviting all your friends for like a catch up after you leaving school, you could also try talking to one of them and just say how you feel and ask what you have done that everyone isnt inviting you to things, its pretty hard with being out of school things seem well different if some of your friends stayed on at school. I would say just talk to them about it

Don't worry Sweetie. I know it hurts. Is it possible they didn't do this on purpose? Also, will you be going back to school and seeing them again? Is there one particular person in this group you can speak to about it that you trust? God Bless and know that you're in good company when feeling left out of things sometimes.

well... firstly do apologize 4 not being present in the birthday as she/he did leave a message....
Then just ignore them... from their way of doing things, it is clear they are not true friends or simply they might be jealous of you for some particular reasons...
like the others have said, make new 'true' friends with whom u can go out and enjoy yourself...
to be popular,.... hmmmm JUST BE YOURSELF... people must like u the way you are!!!:-)

Don't stay out!
YOU call some of your friends and invite them out, to the mall or for lunch/dinner.
And show them how fun you are! [But be yourself]

If you feel like you care about it, don't be ignorant. Put them in their place, they're just not good friends otherwise.
