When he pleads guilty he will receive a 24-36 month prison sentence and he will do 85% of that sentence. That will put him out 2007-2009 with a possible comeback in 2010 as a convicted felon. I believe he will receive a 2 full season NFL suspension upon his release which will make it career ending. To make a living he will end up in th CFL or WWE.
This is a lesson that should be made into a documentary for all young athletes to see in Little League and Pop Warner.

Plea bargin or not I doubt if Vick will play this year. At best he may avoid some jail time but a hefty fine and at least a year suspension from the league is a given.

Vick is done. The t's aren't crossed on the indictment yet but I would guess by the end of today something should come out. Vick is negotiating with the NFL supposedly for conditions for his return after a possible jail sentence. Goodell is probably going to play hardball with him, but eventually I think Vick will be let back in, after Goodell has made his point. My prediction 18-24 months in Jail, and probably another season after that allowing Vick to rejoin sometime in the 2010 season.

He is done if he is found guilty or takes a plea bargain.
Thomas - He career is defined as being a good running QB that couldn't pass his way out of a paper bag. Joey Harrington has better career stats and that's playing for the worst team in the NFL the Lions. How is he going to sue? He broke the league employee policy by being involved in illegal activities and being a general embarrassment. Every company has these policies so he is pretty lucky he still has a job right now. They have their own image to uphold and employing convicted felons or just guys that embarrass them repeatedly by flipping off fans or trying to get weed through an airport do that.

It is being reported that his defense team are divided on whether or not he should take the plea deal. If he does take the plea deal, he won't be able to play this season because he will be in jail. The plea deal is being reported as including a sentence of one year in jail. If he goes to trial, I don't believe the Falcons nor the NFL will let him play, because of the controvery surrounding his charge. Also, he has been ordered by the judge to stay in Virginia until the conclusion of the trial.

Vick will take a plea deal. As for him playing again- The players union wont allow for a lifetime ban. That just wont happen. What can happen and I hope happens is that no team is willing to hire him after all this is said and done. That would be the only way to "ban" a player from the league.

I think he won't if he does the nfl could consider a lifetime ban, the falcons are now trying to recover a contract bonus no matter the outcome, the only way he can get out of this is if he goes to trial and is found not guilty, and even then his reputation will still be tarnished, the falcons might consider trading him if that happens.

A guilty plea? No, he has admitted to associating with gamblers. 1 year suspension at best.
Yes, jail time. The Feds don't fool around.

From my understanding, he'd do some jail time even with a plea. But for some reason if he didn't have to spend time behind bars, the NFL would probably suspend him, which I believe they should. I would suspend him for life if it were up to me. What an awful cruel thing to do to animals. If guilty, he should be locked up.

He will take the plea bargain, but his career is shot. We should start an anti-Vick chant. What rhymes with Vick, hmm...
