945G chipset typically has the GMA 950 graphics. It uses Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT) which varies the amount of memory shared for video, depending on graphics demand. 1 or 8Mb is the fixed allocation but shared memory could go as high as 224Mb max.
You can not adjust it beyond 8Mb. DVMT does the rest automatically.
