I've been with my girlfriend for 4years now and she has a very tight vagina which was operated on last week as the doctor said she has a condition called vaginismus.We tried having sex but I'm still to be able to get a penetration because it hurts her a lot and neither could my finger enter beneath the nail section.Could anyone tell me what the problem could be?Or could it be that my penis is too big?

The doctor advised that we should have sex within a week to avoid the holes blocking again and I ensured the cuts were healed before we tried it.It was not a big operation and the cuts have healed already before we had sex.
More so,we did use lubricants while trying to solve the puzzle.

It is very rare that a vagina is to small. They shift and change with lubrication and excitement. Although, there are women who are simply built that way. Try more foreplay, she might just be tense from all the work she's had down there, expecting it to hurt. Talk to her gyno, she is the one that will know if things are wrong . Be patient. try different positions, her on top allows her to be in control. With the symptoms you described though, I would certainly go back to the doctors and talk to her about this.

I'm very sorry to hear that the "doctor" recommended surgery as treatment for vaginismus. This has probably worsened her condition. Her mind was already associating her vagina and penetration with pain... now with surgical wounds, and you trying to "have sex" after a week, (you wait 6 weeks after a baby - what doctor in their right mind would tell you to try after a week?? I still had bandaging after a week!!) her fears have been completely confirmed.
The problem is - SHE HAS VAGINISMUS!! She will need intensive therapy, probably working with graduated dilators before she'll be anywhere near ready for penetrative sex. She'll need a very knowledgable therapist and a VERY patient sexual partner. If that isn't you, get out now and let her get through her therapy on her own.
Tell her to go to www.vaginismus.com to do some reading up on this condition that she has.

The muscles are tight because of the surgery. Vaginismus can also sometimes be helped with physical therapy. But the reason she's in pain right now is because her body is still healing. It will be about 5 more weeks or so before she can have sex but check with her doctor at post-operative appt to see what they say.

Cuts?? I thought vaginismus was when your muscle contracted when you were getting ready to have sex making the entry seem too tight and causing pain. If so, I had this. I had to lay almost still and relax, deep breathe right before my husband inserted. Then once he was in I was fine. It went away over time. If there is cutting involved, I would think the fear of sex causing pain would make the problem even worse.

The vagina takes longer to heal. It is most likely that her muscles are tensing up because her vagina isn't healed yet, which means you should not have sex or enter her in any way, until she is healed.

There is a possibility that they are related. Honestly I think the only way to know is to visit a doctor. You've had your period for 3 years so you should be regulated. Although it took me personally 2 years and I still skipped at least one month up until this past year. Please visit your doctor only they can help you. Good Luck.

Leave her alone until she is healed! It takes at least 6 weeks for incisions to heal. Just take it easy and give her time. You could really injure her doing anything before she is healed.

She could be very tense when you two are about to do whatever. So maybe you should create more of a relaxing atmosphere and get her to relax maybe give her a massage before you do anythign with like scented oils. That should work.

dont get to big headed how long has it been since her surgery, wait longer or try some lube, that really sucks i dont know what i would do there always other holes mouth or dookie shute
