I mean seriously, all the questions are the same- 'Could I be pregnant?' or 'How do I tell my parents/boyfriend I'm pregnant?'.

I know that it's a serious problem and these girls are looking for help but Y!A isn't going to give them the answers they need! They need to take a test, talk to a doctor and tell their parents.

If they aren't 'woman' enough to deal with the consquences then they SHOULD NOT be having sex!

Why are we (teens) not being taught this?

I'm sorry for generalizing but I'm a teen (and I know I'm not alone) but I keep my legs closed and I would be responsible when it comes to sex.

When is this message going to get through?

My dog is ok. She's sleeping. I'm keeping a close eye on her.

i agree.
almost every time someone asks am i pregnant in the adolescent section, i give an answer along the lines of
'well, my eight ball is broken right now, so i cant really help you.
but you could go get a pregnancy test....wait, nahhhh.
those dont tell you if youre pregnant.
[sarcasm]'
and thats very true, if you arent old enough to deal with a possible pregnancy, keep your pants on.
i wish it would get through to peopel but....it probably wont.

I don't think there is truly a generic answer to any question because there is often many variables. If you mean solely dispensing facts then we could just use inter-net sources. However sometimes we need to hear the human side and feel we are not alone.Sometimes we are not searching for "just the facts" we just want some emotional support. Most teens know how it happens, they are afraid to tell their parents. They do not want to be judged by others or feel that they have let their parents down.Nothing hurts a child more than a parent telling their child "I'm disappointed in you" .Quite often in unplanned pregnancy's the female carries all the" blame" while the male gets" bragging rights" or gets to "run from the situation". Sometimes girls are searching for love because they feel unloved at home and some oppportunistic boy is ready to fill this void.Sometimes a girl is looking for someone to love not being truly aware that a baby needs more love and attention than a young girl can give them. Sometimes passion wins out over common sense. There is no cookie cutter solution to life's problems but as caring human beings we should not sit in judgement of other peoples' choices but try to support them when they fall.Take care.

yes it can be annoying but as people with more life behind them we might be able to help a little bit..\

while yes i agree to some extent with this "If they aren't 'woman' enough to deal with the consequences then they SHOULD NOT be having sex!" not all have the information to be knowing this too and as a teen they think IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ME!!!

you are not tough it course the school lack the balls to tell you it due to parents that would think that is just not right...

there are adults that have no idea what is to be "responsible when it comes to sex." so how the hell can the teens be expected to be?

a million) One. nicely, she was once a teenager mom, she is an grownup now! She replaced into 15. 2) No 3) ok. She married the father, and now has yet another infant. She is in basic terms 19 and has 2 young ones! She needs to cease smoking pot and that i could say she is a miles better mom! 4) no longer my company. 5) i'm too previous to be a teenager mom! I did get married at age 18, yet i did no longer have a infant till 24. Why could everyone choose to be a teenager mom? that is in contrast to on television. those ladies are paid.

Hi Wabby, I am so glad you keep your legs closed. But a lot of teenagers has had the talk with mom or dad about sex and things that could happen. Plus in school you have sex education and go over a lot of things in that class. So most teenagers knows about sex and what can happen.Just stay like you are and you will do fine. Lol
A Friend.

The only way to enjoy this site is to purchase and wear a set of blinkers, gather around you a group of like minded contacts, select only those questions which you can answer and which interest you, and ignore everyone and everything else, and never concern yourself with the points!!! Hang on - that sounds a bit like real life too!! Hmmmmmm, I feel a research project coming on and PhD may be on the cards.

What is it they say is the best contraceptive? Ah yes, an aspirin held tightly between the knees......................

i just leave them be and avoid the questions but in fairness i really don't believe many of them are real.
I'm a teen too and i am responsible when it comes to sex, but some people don't get it or are pressured into it.
in fairness in to old days it was normal to start a family at 16/17 but now its frowned upon, so these girls didn't just lick it off the ground!
and as for 'keeping your legs closed' not all girls who get pregnart are sluts without a clue...

Until these teens are responsible enough to face the consequences of getting into sexual relationship. Hello teens, be aware of your environment.! then you blame the government for the taking care of you and accidental babies! Gross

Ok but if we have a generic teen pregnancy answer then we'll need one for the "how big should my penis be" questions lol.
