A few days ago I noticed a brownish discharge after going to the bathroom. It also has an odor to it. Then today it became more like light blood spots. Now there is a slight itch involved also. I've never had a discharge that looks like this, and I'm worried. Has anyone ever had this occur to them?

Yes, I've had discharges similar to that and for me it meant infection. This could be an infection going on, especially because of the smell. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

If you have a smelly discharge then that means you have a big problem are you sexually active? and do you use protection during intercourse ? if not then this might be a sexually transmitted diesease and you have to get it treated before its too late. Do you feel any hot sensation when urinating it can also be an infection caused by what you use when you are on your periods ,but i suggest you go and get it checked if only it was an odourless discharge acompanied by the itching i would have said thrush but since you say it has an odour go and get it checked but do not stress the sooner you know what it is the better good luck and get well.Am not a doctor but have had thrush before.
