Well certainly both are of the same weight ans they are both one ton each but really i must appreciate the logic used. this might confuse the lots. Good One indeed. I like these type of questions.

They weigh the same. However, their densities are much different. Bricks have a much higher density than feathers. In other words, their atoms are compressed much more than feathers. Therefore; heavier objects yield more density. Now you will have 2,000 lbs. of both feathers/bricks, but the overall density of the bricks is umpteenth times higher. Moreover, if you take one feather and one brick, the brick will win with weight, again because it's of a higher density than the feather.

They're the same weight. There is one ton of feathers = one ton. One ton of bricks = one ton.
That's a weird question.

You can consider the media where a ton of feathers and a ton of bricks will fall.
In air, in water, or in your feet (not head, since both may cause you to die), let say, just in your one foot or toes.
You know the answer already, I suppose, you can judge it.
If you put them lightly and balance in a scale, you get 1 ton for each one.
Good luck.

A ton is always a ton. It is a mass unit
What changes with material is the densities and volume

Good question ... but you said Ton of this and a Ton of that .-.. you gave me the weight already and a ton remains the same weight ... whatever the material may be ... hence they weight the same.

a ton of feathers is heavier... it contains two more letters, on a pc, about 30 to 50 pixels, or .0000036 lbs... depending on the materials your monitor is made out of, or on paper, with your average no. 2 pencil, about .000094 lbs.. and with the typical ball point pen, about .00063 lbs, give or take .000002 lbs. so you see, i win

There are three kinds of "tons". It depends on which one you are talking about. A "long ton" is heavier than a metric ton, which is in turn heavier than a "short ton".
A unit of weight equal to 2,000 pounds (0.907 metric ton or 907.18 kilograms).
Also called: net ton short ton
A unit of weight equal to 2,240 pounds (1.016 metric tons or 1,016.05 kilograms).
Also called: long ton
A metric ton.
