This happened to me once because the kids spilled something.

#1 Keep your car clean.

#2 Get a bug bomb. Make sure it's the fogging kind and not the misting kind to make sure all nooks and crannies are taken care of.

First clean car if possible, if your not afraid of getting bit by the ants. Second roll up the windows. Put a towel down on the surface your going to put the bomb on (to minimize surface damage). Put the bomb in the middle of the car. After setting it off let it sit for 24 hours.

Depends on where your ants are... If you are having a problem with ants inside the home, baby powder works quite well, the ants don't like to walk across it. Outside, pick a day that it will not rain, and use any of the suggestions already posted. Good luck.

Keep the car CLEAN (i.e hoover it out every couple of days-under the seats & all), don't eat in it and spray the underside of the wheel arches as well as inside & in the engine cavity every couple of days too. After 10 days or so you should see a difference. Also wash your hands before driving (or keep wet wipes handy to do this) bcoz they might be attracted if you just ate then drove and the wheel contains food residue!

i had this problem once...putting one of those ant bait things kind of worked but not really.

it was really strange because i don't everrrr eat in my car. sometimes i'll have a drink in there or something, but it has never spilled on to the carpet or anything.

anyway, what ended up happening was, when installing a new cd player deck, the source of the mess was found and cleaned out. and now i'm ant free!

so maybe you should try finding where their little nest is in your car to fully get rid of all of them.

hi, you may have a queen in your car so you just need to get some ant bait buttons and put them on the floor of your car, front and back floors. ant baits are great, but keep them away from pets. also, remove all food scraps in your car. good luck! i hope this helped! :)
