I'm searching for a really good romantic anime, but not a one where its a guy surrounded by girls, or vis versa. I'd also perfer it to have a good ending too. And please, no "Bleach" or "Naruto" kind of answers where romance isn't really a main genre. Thanks!

You didn't give too much particulars (like sub or dub, and other types of genres you may not like) so I will just list a few from a few different types of anime:
Romeo x Juliet- Still being subbed. A very interesting take on the traditional Romeo and Juliet story. Beautiful animations, good action, and a story that makes you uncertain of the ending (even though you know the story).
Okusama wa Joshikousei (My Wife is a Highschool Girl)- Been out for a while, but I don't know if their is a english dub. A girl is married to her high school teacher and they have to keep it a secret from other students and the staff. It was worthwhile, but by no means a favorite.
Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!- Still being subbed (and it's going slow...) This is my favorite anime that I'm reccomending. The story is between two highschool students. The male lead is a year younger, and physically their is a huge difference between the two. Unlike many series, they actually do express their love (ie kissing, hugging, dating) on multiple occasions. There is also some magical elements to the story.
Ai Yori Aoshi- Subbed and dubbed. This is sort of a "guy surrounded by girls" harem, but I still think you would like it. The reason for this is that although there are some girls around him who like him, he is engaged to a girl whom he loves and they have to keep their relationship a secret. So even though you see girls coming on to him, he never takes advantage and is always steadfast in his love.
Chobits OR DearS- Subbed and dubbed. I'm not that big a fan of either of these. It is the one guy one *girl* relationship. However, the girls in these series are a robot and an alien respectively. They are supposed to be completely submissive, but these two are special and aren't mindless slaves (although they act like it for almost the entire time).

Realish drama romance with a realistic type endings I would say Nana, and Paradise Kiss (same creator)
Oldie but a goodie Rurouni Kenshin
Ooh Oldie too: Escaflowne (action and romance)
Oh My Goddess (SO! romantic and cute and happy ending)
Karin (the backward vampire one, cute, funny, strange, and romantic)
Peach Girl (soap opera romantic, only a love triangle no harems of any kind)
I could think if tons more worth while anime, but I'm running out of Romance first titles. I'd need to search.

I haven't actually...seen it...but I heard that Kodocha is good. And I've been wanting to read Peach Girl, too. Also, Kare Kano is a classic (I like the anime much more than the manga).

Well there others like Saikano Paradise Kiss and Nana are good shojos, although I only read Nana and Paradise Kiss on manga and only saw Saikano preview and that draws me away from that. I not that big on Shojos, but try these shows I think Saikano could be like another E7 but idk also Peach Girl looks alright I guess even though I seen the trailer from Funimation.
