Inclusive is correct.

Apple does this because installing OS X would break miserably on a normal Windows machine:

1. Most normal PC's are formatted as NTFS or FAT32, while OS X uses HFS+.

2. OS X ships with certain drivers for hardware. These drivers are for Apple hardware.

It is possible to install OS X on a PC, but it requires, from what I understand, a great deal of screwing around with it, and it's definitely not something Apple would support.

No.

Apple installs a "Trusted Platform Module" chip onto their motherboard. If your motherboard does not possess this chip, the setup will refuse to install.
