Neither is particularly appealing, RX-8 has a piece of trash engine and RSX is just a glossy Civic. For that kind of money I'd rather buy a Mazdaspeed 3, Hyundai Tiburon GT Limited, Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 or base Accord Coupe V6.

If you have the $$ I would go with the Mazda. I loved my RX-8. Although, it was a gas gulper. The Acura will get you way better mileage and repairs on it will probably be cheaper. It will be a lot easier and cheaper to modify the Acura, if that interests you. But again, I loved my RX-8. You don't see too many of them on the road. Let's face it, cars are a huge lifestyle statement, nowadays. Nobody wants a car that makes them look like an average joe. We all want to stand out. I believe the Mazda is unique and will always get the attention it deserves.

It fairly relies upon on what you're going for. needless to say sounds such as you desire a sporty vehicle nonetheless. The honda civic is uncomplicated to enhance and the main stable, and the RSX is incredibly plenty a similar vehicle made by potential of a similar business enterprise with a much bigger engine and greater useful weight distribution. i could pass with the RX-8 nonetheless, those vehicles are rattling appealing. The rotary engine and the 50/50 weight distribution makes it A TON of exciting topersistent. make certain you get the instruction manual transmission. the motor vehicle is very a waste of stable engineering with Mazda's shabby torque converter. the only maintainance project is that the engine each from time to time floods once you have greater mileage on it, yet it incredibly is merely the layout of the Rensis rotary.

I have driven both cars in manual version. They sound the same and the ride quality is the same. They also both feel slow, even though they are fast.
The Acura is more reliable and is safer in snow or rain because of its front wheel drive. The Mazda is dangerous to drive in rain and impossible to drive in snow because of its rear wheel drive.
The Mazda is much faster, but you could get it at the same price as the Acura.
You could drift with the Mazda. Its impossible to drift with the Acura because its front wheel drive.
The Acura has better gas mileage and the mazda looks better.
I would still get the mazda because it looks better and its faster.

mazda rx8, rotary, must check engine oil every other week. gas mileage is down the drain. rsx is almost as fast, higher gas mileage, less options but still a respectable vehicle. in my honest opinion, the maintenance cost of the rsx will be lower than the rx8

RSX will always look like a ricer car, RX-8 you'll be able to keep a long time, as t is more "adult" looking.
