All the stations seem to have all different genre's and all I am looking for is stuff from the early mid and late 80s. Is there an online radio station like that? Early 90s is good too, just anything before 1995.

101.5 Star. I particularly enjoy their morning shows. Makes the commute on I-5 a bit less annoying.

The rare times I listen to the radio now (thank God for iPods and radio transmitters), it's classic rock, and basically the stuff you mentioned as well. The best stations in Seattle for that are 91.7 (it's not a Seattle station, but they usually play classic rock), KJR 95.7, Jack 96.5, KBSG 97.3 (more oldies, 50's, 60's, some 70's), KISW 99.9 (mostly rock from all eras, 70's to now), KPLZ 101.5 (pop rock, 80's to now), KZOK 102.5 (Seattle's main classic rock station, mostly 70's and 80's, some 60's and some 90's), 103.7 The Mountain, and 107.7 for so-called "alternative", which is just a name for today's rock. 92.5 used to play decent music, but now it's no better than KISS 106.1; obnoxious, poppy, and with more R 'n' B than I care to hear. I avoid those two, plus 93.3 especially, like the plague now--little if any musical value. 98.1 is a nice change with good classical music, and 98.9 is a good jazz station, as is 88.5 for older jazz. Country's a good change, too; 94.1 and 100.7 are the two main country stations here. If you like public radio... which is good only for the occasional music feature shows they do... 94.9 is where you'll find NPR. 89.5, which someone mentioned earlier, is for poppy club music. We don't currently have any stations playing good electronica; 89.5 is the closest thing we have to that, and as I said, it plays kiddie club music.

What style of music? 107.7 The End is good for alternative, though they tend to be quite repetitive. The Mountain is a bit more rock. And 88.5 KEXP is a really great indie station.

I'd say either STAR 101.5 or JACK 96.5. I prefer JACK and they usually have a pretty good mix of 80's & 90's. I love the Old School Lunch on KUBE 93.3 and that's old school, but it's mostly old school rap and R & B, but it's cool.

I think your best bet is 101.5. They play 80s, 90s, and present.

KZOK 102.5 plays rock. KJRFM 95.7 a little older stuff. 103.7 The Mountain mixes some older with new.
I think they can be heard on the internet.

KEXP (88.5) has great radio, and their night-time programming is also worth listening to. The STAR (101.5) has more main-stream music, if that's what you're into.
