I have Hydrosalpinex (Fluid in the fallopian tube) right tube. It is painful, and I'm considering Merina (IUD). But in the Merina website, it said that you can't have Merina(IUD) with a pelvic inflammatory problem in your body. Is fluid in the fallopian tube considered PID, can I go ahead and do it or stay away from IUD.

PID usually refers to a pelvic infection that requires antibiotics for treatment. You should check with your doctor to see if you would be a good candidate for Mirena. I have a Mirena IUD and I love it! No side effects, no periods. It's wonderful. Good luck with your decision.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they have heard about this issue as well and see what they think.
