Eric, I've been to Alaska & Anchorage a while ago for a summer vacation. It was a great tourist experience, but I would not blindly move there. May I suggest that you first go there on a visit, maybe in summer and in winter, which I believe will give you a more realistic idea if you can live there. Speak to the locals, do some fun stuff while you are there, but also carefully focus on how it would be to work and live there. Good luck! Sue

I don't really know much about that place, other than the fact that I wanted to get stationed there. But i wasn't.
I heard it is cold though (no, ****)
