They all love MP3 players-- just depends on if he has one or not. Or a cool computer game if he's into that. Or a PSP or Gamecube. Our kids (13, 11 and 10) love the Dance Dance Revolution pads and game for their playstation and it gets them off the couch and moving around. Just a thought. Good luck. If you get completely stuck, a giftcard to his favorite place (like a Vans store or electronics store) would be good, too.

***And yeah, you DO say in another question that you're 12 years old- what's that all about????

Well, it depends how much you want to spend. You could get him an Ipod but that's more on the expensive side. Tickets to a favourite sporting event, concert, amusement park, movie tickets. What about model cars or ones he could build himself? DVD's, music CD's? If all else fails you could just give him cash & tell him you'll take him to go spend it.

It's sad when people ask strangers what to get their own kids. Are we supposed to know your son better than you do? Try spending some time with him and learning what he likes.

.22 rifle.

It's safe and easy to operate, low recoil and ammo is cheap.
It'll teach him a lot of responsibility, and boost his confidence.

Go to your local sporting goods store and tell the clerk at the counter and they'll fix you right up!

EDIT: In the other question you have posted you state you're 12...wtf?
