you mean it crank,s but wont start...right?.....as long as it hasn't been exposed to too much water or humidity.......try ...removing the air filter...open the throttle....spray some either or carburetor cleaner into the intake......then try to start.....if your ignition is serviceable it will fire then die.....drain old fuel & refill with fresh.....then try again.....eventually it will keep running as long as there is no other problem!........good luck!..... also install some sea foam brand fuel system cleaner before refilling the fuel system.

There are two things you should do to get it to fire:

1. Check the fuel pressure. This is done under the hood with a uel pressure gauge hooked up to the fuel line/rail in proximity to the fuel injectors.

2. Pull out the spark plugs, one at a time, and clean them and gap them or replace them.

It sounds like you have a fuel pressure problem but it could also be that the spark plugs having sat for 3 years just have too much oil residue on them to throw a spark.

The gasoline will still be OK. If you add anything to the fuel tank a botlle of STP fuel treatment will not hurt. Afer sitting so long the fuel will have "settled" and since water is heavier than gasoline the bottom of the tank will have a higher moisture content until you drive it and the motion of the car sloshes the fuel around in the tank.

Good Luck!
