i stop by every once and awhile to see whats happening here in politics, its funny that its the same old garbage and hate, childish twisted logic, blind faith and petty talking points.

The majority will never change because it is an average of a bunch of different opinions. In a place/forum as diverse as YA, the majority will be evenly spread and will not likely 'change'.
There is always going to be garbage, hate, twisted logic, blind faith and petty talking points in every nook and cranny of the globe. It is just something you have to accept and realize that there are billions of people on the planet, all of whom are different.
Take the things you find petty and a waste of time with a grain of salt, and spend your time doing positive rather than wasting your own time talking/criticizing/dwelling on the pointless.

While I will agree that many of the Q & A in this section are nothing more than baseless diatribes and rhetoric, there are still some legitimate questions and answers. You just have to be willing to take the time to sort through the garbage. Every now and then you will find a totally unexpected glimmer of intelligence among the ignorance, hatred, and those who mimic the talking heads.

I personally enjoy watching the wing nuts on both ends of the political spectrum make jokes at each others expense. My own values lay somewhere in between. Actually there were quite a few very good questions earlier today if you don't count the several hundred Carl Rove questions. Now will someone ask something funny?

Change is something that takes time. Informed persons can make change happen. To recognize what needs changing to converse in intelligent solutions is a beginning for some and I am glad you found time to stop to view what might be new. Unfortunately politicians do not make changes people must stand up for change so email your representative in congress and assist in making positive change in the world. It could help. One never knows but at least one might make an attempt.
