Okay so I'm doing my homework and this seemed to confuse me. So I live in Arizona, it's super hot and no rain. And it said in my homework, "The higher a location's temperature, the more easily water evaporates at that location." and that makes sense, but so does that mean the slower the evaporation, the more precipitation? I'm confused...

Precipitation is affected by the amount of water in the air and the temperature.
As the air moves large distances the moist air does not always rain on the area where it was collected.
The most favourable conditions for rain is to have moist air pushed to high altitudes and blow across mountain ranges.

Evaporation also depends on wind speed and humidity.
Several atmospheric parameters influence precipitation, these are, air-mass temperature, humidity, instability, windspeed and direction, and frontal intensity.
