I think it depends on which model you buy. Both of them make different firmness mattresses. Some people like them soft, some hard. You have to compare apples to apples. Go to the store and try them both. good luck.

Each manufacturer makes firm matresses. If that's what you want, just ask a salesman and he will direct you to them. It has been my experience that you have to try them. Each person defines "firm" differently. I want my mattress like a brick so I ask for extra firm. I will buy whichever feels the best to me.
