It would take a LOT of hurricanes- most going on all at the SAME time- to stir up the Oceans enough to cool them any. Hurricanes are one of the "effects"- caused by our warming Oceans -due to global warming. And the WARMER the World becomes- the MORE hurricanes there WILL be.

the best explanation that I saw was linking hurricanes to sun spot cycles.
the total ion (electrical ) energy that the earth gets from the sun apparently tends to show up here as hurricanes.
