I have a plant with purple leaves and purple roots. New leaves that grow are green and turn purple within a day or so. It seems like it can't be overwatered and loves the hot weather. Since the extremely hot weather has kicked in, the plant seems to flourish. It also blooms bright pink tubular flowers that only last for 1 day, but it takes several weeks for the buds to grow. I think the plan looks very unusual and has been very easy to grow. I really want to know what this plant is. I have search the internet and there are several plants w/ purple leaves and pink flowers but they are not my plant. Please help!!!!

Could be wandering jew or ornamental yam (almost black, 3 lobed leaves, vine), more description of the folliage would help. Tried with no success to find you a photo.

good luck
