It could be almost anything. Multinational corporations just love the concept of low cost country outsourcing. They don`t care what conditions these people have to endure or the quality of the final product. As long as it is something like and turns them a little more profit, consumers like us will be put at risk. Cheap labor is not the answer, it will come back to bite them as we are now seeing.

The current and continuously deadly product to come in from china... faux silk ties.
More suicide deaths are caused each year from neck ties then from deaths from toys with lead based paint. The guy who was in charge of making these toys, (knowing that they contained lead), killed himself today with his tie, hung himself from a book self.
Its the media blowing this out of proportion.
