There's a lot more to playing for a D1 school than your current size and strength.

here are some considerations:
- Whats your SAT score?

- Whats your grade point average?

- How will you pay for school?

- How many game tapes has coach made of you so that he can help place you in schools and get scouts to look at you?

- What league do you play in now and how good are you? (Being the best MLB of a 6A school would be fine)

You could be a Godsend to football, and if your SATs are low and your GPA is below a 3.0 ORRrr, if your parents cannot afford it...you aren't going to a D1 school.

Don't be discouraged.
Another way to get there is by going to a smaller college...
playing football with the intention of transfering to a D1 school in a year or two.

ORRRrr playing for a D2 school and going pro in the future.

Right now your bench and squat have to come up.
Your speed has to drop.

And those things I know you can accomplish.

Good luck.

If you are a numbers guy (ht, wt, bench, 40 time, etc...) why not compare yourself to the players on scout.com and rivals.com. The players listed there are "evaluated" by people that are paid to do so. I use evaluated in " " because they sometimes send other people to do their dirty work for them (record times and stats, take pics...).
You've got 2 years and I'm guessing your body will change a little between now and then, so who knows what's going to happen.

Good luck this year!!

while you're purely throwing interior the 70s as a sophomore you probably won't make it as a glass. And while you at the instant are not being scouted already as a sophomore you probably won't make it, sorry. i could say in case you decide directly to play in college although get a spotlight tape mutually and deliver it around to distinctive faculties pass to showcases, being on the summer season group is surely a solid initiate. solid success.

Buster davis is the same size but he is waaaay faster than you. You would be to small to play line, to slow to play linebacker or db.

Forget a D1 college. You are to small and slow for a LB, way to small for a DL.
