How often do you look up words in the dictionary?

And when you do, do you get so interested in the other words you read them and forget what you were looking up in the first place?

I look up words a lot. I like learning new words, And I do get kinda intrigued in others that I go on and on. Its not like I read it for fun though, like, "Hey, I'm pretty bored, lets get out the DICTIONARY!! WOO HOO!" but if I have to look up a word, and I see another, I have to look up that one, and on and on.

I use the dictionary quite a lot, and I also taught my 9 year old grandson, how to use the dictionary, he tells me its quicker on the computer, But I tell him, if the computer goes down, you will still be able to do your homework. LOL And yes there has been many times that my eyes have seen another word, and I did forget what I was looking up in the first place.

All the time. The vocabulary is ever changing. I have to use a dictionary just to keep up. Yes, I do begin with one word and find interesting stuff and wander away from the word sometimes. But, I always manage to learn something else new and that's fun.

I use to look up words in the dictionary all the time (worst speller ever) but now I use the internet, much faster. I do get caught up sometimes when I go to look up something for an answer to a question, never answer the question but learn a lot about different things.

I'm too lazy too look up words in the dictionary. I just keep reading after trying to figure out what the word is.

I always have the dictionary next to me when I read xDDD I'd rather read and now the word or learn a new word then just read it and pretend I understand it. I've read 3 books and learned 300 new words :) I remember them to.

I try to look up words everytime I am reading a novel/book and I come across a word I am unfamiliar with; I am doing that with a book I am reading now

Usually 5 or 6 times a week. Sometimes more.
Yes, sometimes it happens that I forget was I was searching for because I see related words.

Ocassionally. Most of the time it's an internet one but when I use a book one I ALWAYS get distracted reading the other definitions. Sometimes I giggle while I'm at it and my whole English class looks at me funny.
