I was walking this evening and this dog was right in my face! The owner said, "My dog doesn't bite!!" I said, 'PLEASE COME GET YOUR DOG!" When I was a cop and people said, "It's ok! my dog doesn't bite!"......I would say THREE THINGS to the owner:
#1.) YOU FEED IT!!
#2.) IT HAS TEETH!!
#3.) DID THE DOG TELL YOU THAT TODAY??!!

ill believe them but i still keep my guard up if i think the dog is gonna do something. but really my dog doesn't bite unless you hang on him, then he'll will try to get you. but since we got him he has never bit any one. he goes crazy when someone comes to the door but he doesn't hurt people. hes a friendly dog just looking for attention.

my dog never bit anyone,
until he bit the mailman. true story.
the guy kinda tripped in the direction of my daughter and my dog took it the wrong way and grabbed the mailman's leg (swear to God) . but it was just a warning thing.. no skin was broken. whew ! (and i'm sorry but ,... GoodDog)

I agree, I never tell people my dogs dont bite, I always say "They've never bitten anyone before" that way my @ss is covered lol

It depends on the dog.
If its a small dog, one that I can take in a fight, I don't worry about it.
If its a big dog, I never believe them.
